While the man is nominally the head of the family and responsible for bringing his family to Christ, in reality it is often the woman who chooses a church, gets everyone ready to go Sunday morning and Wednesday night, and who volunteers in the nursery, the kitchen, or the church office.

Mother’s Day is a wonderful time to recognize Southeast Texas women for all that they do – in their homes, in our churches, and across the Southeast Texas Christian community.
