The congregation of Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland is preparing a wonderful holiday gift for the Southeast Texas Christian community – a wonderful 2014 Southeast Texas live nativity event.
On the second weekend of December each year, the nativity story comes alive for Southeast Texas.
Wesley United Methodist Church of Nederland Tx presents the Christmas Story on their front lawn.
“Journey to Bethlehem” is a short play showing of the birth of Jesus from the visit of Gabriel to the journey of the Wise Men.
This production is extremely popular with the Southeast Texas Christian community – especially with children. Their Southeast Texas live nativity experience includes live animals (even a camel!). In the children’s area, pictures are taken of families with Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.
All activities during the Wesley United Methodist Church of Nederland live nativity experience are free and open to the public.
