Southeast Texas Christians Join Uncle Si in Supporting Operation Christmas Child

Southeast Texas Holiday Charities

Operation Christmas Child

Southeast Texas Churches have long supported the Operation Christmas Child program of Samaritan’s Purse.

The goal of the program is to provide Christmas presents for children all over the world.

How does it work?

Southeast Texas Christians take an empty shoebox (or pick one up from their Southeast Texas Church) and fill it with small but well chosen gifts for children in need – your box may go anywhere in the world.

Hundreds of Southeast Texas churches support the Operation Christmas Child program – and would love for you to drop off your shoebox at their office or during one of their services.

Uncle Si from the popular Duck Dynasty series (and vocal Christian) has been actively encouraging Southeast Texas Christians to get Operation Christmas Child Uncle Siinvolved with the Operation Christmas Child Program.

Southeast Texas Christian kids really enjoy it when their family participates in Operation Christmas Child. They love the idea of helping kids who aren’t going to be getting Play Station 4s and bicycles this year.

They understand the importance of sharing and get really energized by the process of helping choose items for their shoeboxes.

If you have been looking for a easy, cost friendly, activity your Southeast Texas family can share during the Christmas season, Operation Christmas Child is perfect.
