On today’s Port Arthur Christian News we look at an opportunity for Mid County women to come together in prayer.

Prayer can heal us in many ways.

Many of us get into routines when we pray. Some of us always pray for thanks, some of us always pray for forgiveness, some pray always requesting the Lord’s help and blessings. A lot of Southeast Texas Christians kind of blend these (or other) prayers, but pretty much pray the same way each day.

Praying with others is a great way to re-energize and refresh our own prayers as well as to lend the power of our prayer to others.

Many Southeast Texas churches have set aside times when different groups come to the church and pray together- a men’s prayer time or women’s prayer time.

If you are a woman in Mid-County and you’re interested praying with other Christian women, Stonegate Church of Christ in Port Arthur has a women’s prayer group every Wednesday at 10AM.

This can be a great time to renew your own prayer, assist others in their prayers, and to fellowship with other Christian Women.
