Four Orange TX churches are joining forces to do something special for the kids in the community: presenting a “mega” Orange VBS.
More and more, Southeast Texas churches are teaming up to provide first class service to our communities. These Orange TX churches are certainly showing what can be accomplished when Believers come together as a united team.
In the summer, our Southeast Texas churches focus a lot of time, energy, and resources on developing our youth.
Southeast Texas churches have scheduled youth camps, pre-teen camps, children’s camps, youth service days, special Sunday Bible Studies, Wacky Wednesdays, and other activities keep children engaged and focused on the Lord.
It is all about the children, and you can really see that when multiple Southeast Texas churches come together to jointly host an event for children.
Orange TX churches certainly have their hearts in the right place. July 22-26 four Orange churches will be joining forces to bring a wonderful Southeast Texas Vacation Bible School to the children of our community.
These Orange TX churches will be presenting “Athens” a VBS centered on the journeys of Paul and the importance of sharing the truth.
The four participating Orange churches are:
- Orange First Church of the Nazarene
- First Church of God Orange
- Salem United Methodist Church
- First United Methodist Church Orange
The VBS will be open to ages 5-14. The scene will be ancient “Athens”. Activities will be fun and at the end participants will have learned more about Paul’s journey and the importance of each of us as Southeast Texas Christians sharing the truth in every avenue of our lives.
The hosting church will be First United Methodist Church of Orange..

Participating Orange Churches: Orange First Church of the Nazarene, Salem United Methodist Church, First Church of God-Orange, and First United Methodist Church of Orange.
Orange VBS Ages: Children 5-14 are welcome to come ”visit” Athens, and experience Paul’s journey of sharing the truth.
Orange VBS Location: First United Methodist Church of Orange. 502 North 6th Street in Orange
Orange VBS Time: Evenings from 6-8 p.m.
