Lots of movies feature old time Southern gospel music to set a tone. Without fail, many people watching say something like, “That sounds so wonderful. Too bad you can’t hear church music like that anymore.”
Well, Southeast Texas Christians know better. Even though many of our churches feature contemporary music now, a little digging will turn up regular opportunities to find great Southern Gospel, traditional gospel, and bluegrass.
Orange TX First Church of the Nazarene will host an old fashion sing during their morning worship service on June 2nd at 10:45AM.
This is a great opportunity for Southeast Texas Southern Gospel fans to not only enjoy some great music but to also fellowship with Orange Christians.
There will be Southern Gospel type music from the Worship Choir and will feature several Southern gospel quartets.
Following the singing will be a Pot-luck meal in the Fellowship Hall. We all know there is no better food than at a Southeast Texas Church Pot-luck!
