Wesley United Methodist in Nederland to host Southeast Texas Live Nativity

Each Christmas, there are a number of wonderful opportunities for Southeast Texas Christians to celebrate the season.

For families, one of the highlights is finding a Southeast Texas church hosting a live nativity. For adults, a live nativity takes them beyond the two dimensional representations of Christ’s birth on books or television.

Children are transported to a different time. Often, a live nativity is the first time our Goldent Triangle kids really have images of what life was like in Jesus’ time.

Often you get the smells of wood smoke and livestock mixed with the rich visual imagery and the sound of church members in period dress acting out the roles of Bethlehem inn keepers, pilgrims, and towns people.

If you are looking for a Southeast Texas church with a live nativity to share with your family, SETXchurchguide can point you in the right direction.

Wesley United Methodist in Nederland is hosting their live nativity, “Journey to Bethlehem” over three nights this year, Friday December 7- Sunday December 9.

This gives you three great opportunities to share this wonderful representation of Christ’s birth.
