Each year, the congregation of Wesley United Methodist Church Nederland puts together a beautiful Christmas gift for Southeast Texas – a live nativity program called “Journey to Bethlehem”.
The event is perfect for your Southeast Texas children’s ministry, church youth group, or to enjoy with your family.
On the second weekend of December, Wesley presents the Christmas Story on the front lawn for the SETX Christian community to enjoy and reflect upon.
“Journey to Bethlehem” is a short play showing of the birth of Jesus from the visit of Gabriel to the journey of the Wise Men.
This production includes live animals (even a camel!).
In the children’s area, Southeast Texas Christian families can have their pictures taken with Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.
