Are you looking to introduce your children to missions work?
Silsbee Children’s ministry “God is Gracious” gives kids an opportunity to help kids.
Kids have long been fascinated with secret agents. God is Gracious, or “GIG” taps into that. The participating kids are called “agents”.
Like Southeast Texas secret agents for Christ, GIG agents complete missions to help Southeast Texas children in need.
There are two really special things about this Southeast Texas children’s ministry.
1. Children are helping other children
2. Southeast Texas Christians do an amazing job assisting children throughout the world in the missions field. This wonderful program serves children right here at home.
The Gig Agents have an exciting mission underway for July – and any Southeast Texas Christian can help these Christ centered kids accomplish this mission.
The children of Buckner have received their backpacks for the upcoming school year.
The mission of the Gig Agents is to fill the backpack with all the school supplies the Buckner children will need.
The deadline for this mission is July 31.
If you’d like to do your part to help the Gig kids help the Buckner kids, here are some drop off locations for school supplies:

A Southeast Texas teacher shared some ideas for school supplies that Southeast Texas teachers always need and appreciate:
- crayons
- markers
- pencils
- erasers
- glue
- scissors
- notebooks
- map pencils
