Best Wishes for a Blessed Christmas Eve for Southeast Texas Christians & Families

Christmas Eve in Southeast TexasMake it one to remember!

We wish each of our Southeast Texas Christian families and churches a blessed Christmas Eve.

If you’re looking for a last minute activity to make a Christmas Eve Impact on your child, here are some traditions that are meaningful to other Southeast Texas Christian families:

  • Candlelight Christmas Eve Service (Cornerstone Baptist Church Kountze, First Baptist Church Bridge City)
  • Read the Christmas story to your child. SETX libraries have great children’s versions, and versions are available on-line as well. Click here for an on-line version of the nativity story.
  • Share a family recipe with your child. Christmas traditions bring warm memories in a child as they age. Something as simple as decorating Christmas cookies with you can make a lifelong impact and the positive association can be a part of the journey that ultimately leads your child to Christ.
  • Call an elderly relative. In a perfect world, all family members could be together on Christmas. For many families, geography and “life” makes that impossible (or prohibitively difficult). More than your cards and gifts, the sound of your voice can be a real blessing to an elderly family member.
