2013 looks like another big Operation Christmas Child year for Wildwood Baptist Church in Village Mills (Wildwood Resort City).
The members of the Wildwood Baptist Church congregation have been hard at work filling Operation Christmas Child boxes to be distributed worldwide.
This is a clear case of one Southeast Texas Christian being able to make a big difference in a child’s life this Christmas. Essentially you make sure a child who would otherwise have nothing, receives something special this Christmas.

Wildwood Baptist Church is doing their final collection of Operation Christmas Child boxes this Sunday, November 24th 2013 at their Sunday service.
If you’d like to participate in Operation Christmas Child, but you don’t live in the Big Thicket area, hundreds of Southeast Texas churches participate in the program – call one near you (like Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont).
Are you interested in participating in Operation Christmas Child this year, but you’re not sure what to put in?
Some popular choices include:
- Small high quality toys (if a child only has a few toys it is important that they last)
- Pens, Pencils, Colored Pencils, Markers, High Lighters, Sharpies
- Stickers
- small flashlights with batteries (or hand operated)
- Tooth brush, tooth paste, nail clippers
Your imagination – and the size of your shoebox – are the only real limitations.
