Southeast Texas Sunday School Classes look for ways to fellowship beyond the church campus.
Some Christians Sunday School classes build homes through Habitat for Humanity. Others mow the lawns of low income Southeast Texas seniors. Some bring the gift of song into Southeast Texas nursing homes. There are Southeast Texas Methodist Men’s groups who build, repair, and upgrade churches all over the region and nation. There are Baptist women’s groups who feed students at Lamar. Church of Christ Sunday School classes minister in the prison. SETX Catholics teach immigrants how to read. Many Christian Sunday School classes man booths at county fairs and show up year after year to help run our SETX Vacation Bible School programs.
One group close to the heart of many Southeast Texas Christians is the Hope Women’s Resource Clinic. In the eyes of many Southeast Texas churches, the mission of the Hope Women’s Resource Clinic in Beaumont is saving lives.
