Do you love to quilt and spend time with other Southeast Texas quilters? Each Thursday afternoon ladies gather at First Baptist Church Silsbee for quilting and fellowship.
Some come to learn.
Some come to teach.
Some Southeast Texas quilters come to enjoy the fellowship of ladies who share a common interest.
In Southeast Texas, quilting is more than a hobby. It is part of our heritage as Southeast Texans – and often as Southeast Texas Christians.
Many of today’s Southeast Texas quilters remember their mothers and grandmothers making quilts for church fundraisers.
