Port Arthur has launched their 2015 Summer Reading Program.
Activities kick off on June 6th. Popular children’s library entertainer Julian Franklin will come to Southeast Texas to launch the 2015 Port Arthur Public Library Summer Reading Program.

- All events free with your library card
The 2015 Summer Reading Registration kickoff is just the first exciting summer reading activity hosted by the Port Arthur Library.
They will also have weekly activities for different age groups.
- Mondays 6p – 7:30p Teen Training Camp
- Tuesdays 10a – 11a
- Wednesdays 10a – 11a
- Wednesdays 2-3p Teens and Seniors

If you’re looking for fun activities for kids in Port Arthur, there will be plenty from the Port Arthur Public Library including:
- June 18. Juneteenth Flag Raising Port Arthur. County Courthouse with Commisioner Sinegal.
- June 19th. Dance Workshop followed by Port Arthur Juneteenth Parade.
