Looking for a Great Southeast Texas Christmas Charity? Support the SETX Orphan Run December 7th

This year Southeast Texas Christians have a lot of options when it comes to helping others over the holidays.

One great option – and one perfect for Southeast Texas churches looking to do something as a team – is the 2013 Orphan Fun Run at Martin Dies Jr. State Park (Dam B).

The 2013 Orphan Fun Run supports three orphanages in India run by Soul Winners India (SWI).

These orphanages:

  • Give homeless Indian orphans a place to belong – a home.
  • Provide quality education, including English and Christianity.
  • Ensure children with no hope have real hope.

There are a lot of great ways Southeast Texas Christians can give back around Christmas. You’re probably already doing a shoebox (or several) for Operation Christmas Child. You probably have chosen a child from the Angel Tree.

We know you do a lot- and it all helps.

The 2013 Soul Winners India Orphan Run is one more thing you can do to make a difference – and feel great at the same time.

Some of the things we like about the 2013 Orphan Run include:

  • Great activity for families and churches to do together.
  • Encourages Southeast Texas Christians to stay healthy during the “eating holidays” of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • Everyone has a special place in their heart for orphans.
  • What makes a better Facebook status “Just spent another day at the mall” or “Just finished a 5k to help orphans in India”?
