Labor Day Wishes for Lumberton and The Golden Triangle
In the Golden Triangle, we work hard. We cut timber that is used to build houses across the country. Southeast Texans grow rice and beef and chickens that feed the world. We drill for oil and build the pipelines that transport it, and refine it to fuel the world.
Unfortunately, we work so hard, and the work we do is so important, that not everyone is able to take Labor Day off.
If you are, we hope you get a chance to relax and recharge your batteries. Spend time with friends, family, and neighbors. Fire up the grill. Take the boat out of the garage and drag it to Sam Rayburn or the Neches River or Sabine Lake.
Whatever you choose, take a deep breath. Enjoy yourself.
Work will still be there on Tuesday.
