First Baptist Church Loeb Youth Camp was special this year.
First Baptist Loeb attended the SNBA Youth Camp July 15-19. The theme for the 2013 SNBA Youth Camp was “Thirst” and students were challenged to thirst for the “living water” that comes only from a relationship with Jesus.
The Spirit of Christ was very evident during the 2013 SNBA Youth Camp, and the Word of God was preached strongly.
At this year’s youth camp, there were six youth brought to salvation, many rededications of faith and one young man surrendered to the ministry during our week.
First Baptist Loeb students were wonderful all week and the cabin atmosphere was peaceful with everyone taking care of each other and enjoying the opportunity to fellowship together.
The students were a joy to be around. There were 46 students and 9 adults to attend for a total of 55.
Thank you to First Baptist Church Loeb for supporting the youth with the camp assistance fund and for praying for the students. Your investment was well worth it.
Pray as our students and adults follow through with the challenge to thirst for God and not the things of this world.
For God’s Glory,
John Barker – Youth Minister
Thank-you to First Baptist Church Loeb and their congregation for making these opportunities available to Southeast Texas youth.
