First Baptist Church Buna has been very dedicated to helping Southeast Texas Christians grow in their Walks this summer.
First Baptist Church Buna is all about teaching. They are providing opportunities for Southeast Texas Christians to become better husbands, wives, men, women, teachers, leaders, and Christians.
Earlier in August First Baptist Church Buna hosted their popular Art of Marriage Conference to help Southeast Texas Christians grow in their marriages. Reviews on this Southeast Texas marriage conference have been outstanding. If you missed this year’s Art of Marriage Conference, we’ll keep you posted for 2014. Due to the event’s popularity and reviews, it is likely to be back in the summer of 2014.
First Baptist Church Buna has also been active in promoting Sabine Neches Baptist Area Men’s Retreat. This year’s retreat was lead by Brother Rusty Mott of Cornerstone Baptist Church Kountze, Jared Hollier from Peachtree Baptist Church in Jasper, and Brother John Denby from First Baptist Church Spurger.
First Baptist Church Buna will be opening their doors for the Eleventh Annual Sabine Neches Baptist Area Sunday School Leadership Conference on Saturday August 24th.
This year, the SNBA Sunday School Leadership Conference will be led by Allan Taylor, a nationally recognized leader in growing Sunday School ministries. Allan has been intrumental in the dramatic growth of his home church’s Sunday School program (First Baptist Church Woodstock in Georgia) and travels extensively helping other churches grow their Sunday School programs.
Whether you were called to being a Sunday School teacher or pushed into it, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow your skill set and to become a better teacher and leader in your Southeast Texas home church.
