My grandmother hated to travel. She didn’t want to be away from home on Sundays. She would almost never leave town on a holiday, not wanting to miss holiday worship services with her church family.
My family loves to travel, but we like to be able to plug into services when we’re visiting family, heading to Sam Rayburn or Toledo Bend, or getting down to the beach (there are several great churches in Winnie and Crystal Beach).
