Moody Gardens Offers Fun – and Merit Badge Days
Southeast Texas Churches have long been involved in the Golden Triangle Boy Scout community.
This often involves allowing scout troops to use church space for meeting rooms and equipment storage, sponsoring Boy Scout activities and camps,
and church members often volunteer to assist with special events, even camp outs. 
If your Golden Triangle church is involved with a local Boy Scout Troop, here’s an outing you may want to volunteer for: Moody Gardens offers private badge workshops for Cub Scouts and “Merit Badge Days” for Boy Scouts.
Fees vary by topic.
This is a great opportunity to get Southeast Texas Boy Scouts on the road for a fun, education day that will end with new badges being earned.
