1st Baptist Nederland – Children’s Ministries

First Baptist Nederland has a wide variety of children’s programming that combine fun and learning.

Sunday School: 

Preschool age
Sundays, 9:00 a.m.
All preschool groups are located on the first floor of the original building. If you enter the building through the doors under the covered drive, follow the main hall in that building.

Children older than pre-school
Sundays, 9:00 a.m.
All children’s groups are located on the second floor of the original building. As you go through the main hall, you will find stairwells leading you to that area of the building.
TeamKID! (Available during the Summer)
Wednesdays 5:45 p.m.
All children in grades 1-6 are invited to join the TEAMKID Character Challenge on Wednesday Evenings from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. in the Team KID Room above the Fellowship Hall. The purpose of TEAMKID is to focus on character traits that God wants children to develop. Each week’s plans will focus on a different trait that will help children develop Christian character. Weekly prizes will be drawn for scripture memory, attendance, motto memorization, bringing friends etc.

Preschool & Children’s Choir (Available during the school year)

Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m.

Preschool age meet in Room 120, 1-3 grade in ED114

4-6 grade in the Choir Room. Let us rejoice with a joyful noise! Join this exciting group as they participate and rehearse for yearly programs.

Children’s Church (Available during the school year)
Sundays, 10:15 a.m. This exciting, weekly event is built just for kids to learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ, how to become a Christian, and how to live a holy life as a Christian.

Mission Friends (Available during the school year)
Sundays, 5:15 p.m. This ministry is to teach children about missionaries and the work they are doing around the world.
