Reverend David Foster & his wife Bonnie have long shepherded the flock at Wildwood – Village Mills United Methodist Church.
Over the years, Reverend Foster has been an instrument of the Lord in the big thicket community.
Outreach to the community has included Ash Wednesday services, trunk or treat, back to school events for families, outdoor services with live southern gospel and bluegrass hymns, barbecues, picnics, ice cream socials, craft fairs, bake sales, and of course heart felt sermons 
and Bible study.
During Reverend Foster’s tenure, Wildwood – Village Mills Baptist Church has also partnered on a number of community fellowship events with Wildwood Baptist Church. This has allowed for larger events to be held than either church would easily be able to do on their own and fostered a wonderful sense of Christian kinship.
This Saturday a retirement party will be held for Reverend David Foster and his wife Bonnie. The party will begin at 3pm.
