Labor Day – A Time of Rest
If there is one thing we understand in Southwest Louisiana and East Texas, it is what it means to work hard. In very real ways, we built this country.
The biggest cities and smallest towns were built with our timber. Our oil sends cars down every highway. Our ideas are shaping the future.
In a way, it feels like Labor Day was created to make us take a break, to relax and reflect on what we’ve already accomplished.
Labor Day is also a key time to recharge so we will have energy for the next project.
We’re going to get together with friends and families around the grill and enjoy one Monday when we’re not on the clock.
I know not everyone will get to take the day off. We hope you do find some time to enjoy your family and to take a break. You deserve it.
