St. Andrews – Day School & Mother’s Day Out

As parents, each of us wants to do everything we can to help our children grown and develop. We want our kids to be happy and healthy. We work hard to give them the best possible chance of growing into wonderful adults.

Education is one of the key areas that we, as parents, really want to get right. Fortunately Southeast Texas has a number of wonderful schools, both public and private.

Christians frequently look to church affiliated programs to help ensure their children have the best opportunity to develop a relationship with Christ.
St. Andrew’s Day School and Mother’s Day Out Programs are such wonderful assets to parents and children in our community. St. Andrew’s Day School was established in 1964 and continues to educate Golden Triangle children in a loving and nurturing environment. St. Andrews also strives to instill each child with a strong sense of core values and principles.

The ability to learn independently and through discovery are major goals in the St. Andrews curriculum. Play is recognized and utilized as a major vehicle for learning. Since children learn by doing, many opportunities are taught through thematic units with focus on science, cooking, motor skills, math, art, reading readiness and writing skills. In addition to regular classroom activities, St. Andrews provides music and chapel. Both have been identified at the top of lists Southeast Texas parents want a school to provide for their children. St. Andrews also recognizes the importance of technology with an aggressive computer skills program.

St. Andrews Mother’s Day Out has been a popular program for years. It gives moms (or dads) just enough time to run errands, clean the house, exercise, go grocery shopping, or have some down time to ward off any of those “moments” parents have when we’ve been cooped up in the house too long with the wild and wooly wiggle worms we so dearly love.

St. Andrews can provide your child a wonderful place to play, learn, and make friends in a faith based environment. St. Andrews helps develop strong values and morals in a world where the lines are too often blurred. St. Andrew’s is here to love and serve your children and your family.
