First United Methodist Church Nederland knows Southeast Texas men can be a very tough group to minister to. Southeast Texas men’s ministry is difficult because our men are so hard to schedule for. Southeast Texas men frequently work shift work. Of those, a third or more are working while the rest of the community is sleeping. Southeast Texas men are almost as likely to work on weekends as they are on weekdays.
Everyone has to eat though right? 
First United Methodist Church Nederland hosts a men’s breakfast every Thursday. They know they can’t catch every man every week, but they will have the table set for you the weeks you can make it.
