This fun Southeast Texas Family event has a little of everything.
Families will learn about Dia de Los Muertos, eating bugs (are they the food of the future?), and enjoy some fun crafts.
Your child can:
- Eat a bug
- Learn about Dia de Los Muertos (think Halloween in Spanish)
- Make a piñata
- Decorate a skull made out of sugar
- Enjoy Latin music and food.
Halloween costumes are welcome.
This is a big, fun Halloween event for Southeast Texas families – enjoy!
Eat a Bug is appropriate for all ages – kids, parents, and grandparents.
Lots of Golden Triangle families will visit The Art Museum of Southeast Texas for their popular “Eat a Bug” event and then head over to the Beaumont Cops and Kids Carnival across the street at the Civic Center.
